So many words can describe the current times we are in. Most, if not all of us can say we have never in our lifetimes faced the challenges we are facing today. Yet, I am hopeful. I believe we will come out bigger, better, and even more compassionate and aware than before. But it will take all of us.
I am many things. Child of God. Wife. Mother. Artist. Lotus Theory Designs. Small business Owner. On a personal scale, my family and I are in a fortunate position to self-isolate and minimize exposure to the looming threat that is coronavirus. As a small business owner that works from home, I have been practicing label-less social distancing longer than I realized and therefore, I am mentally doing OK.
Though we have what we need for the time being, there is a level of uncertainty that anxiety relentlessly reminds me of. "How is this going to affect my small business? Will Lotus Theory survive? How will MY FAMILY survive without my small business?!"
Perhaps you've heard the saying "Every time someone purchases from a small business the owner does a happy dance." Well, this is true for us as well. Every purchase is food on the table, funds toward our living expenses, braces on our kids' teeth, gas in our cars, etc.
In an attempt to mitigate possible damages and continue to provide my family with a steady income stream, I have implemented a few strategies that not only help me, but also those interested in purchasing my goods but need assurances. Luckily, my business is online based and therefore I have flexibility. More importantly, ecommerce allows me to remain open during the current circumstances!

Are you still open?
Yes, we are still open for online business! As small business owners (myself with the aid of my husband), we are being extra vigilant, applying the CDC recommended precautions when cleaning and sanitizing furniture, wearing gloves, social distancing, isolating unless we need essentials, and accepting electronic payments only. All pieces are stored in our off-site storage unit upon completion, where they are isolated from any contact with anyone other than us.
Can I purchase and Ship/Pickup later?
Yes! If you would like to make a purchase but a secure a delivery/pickup date for a later time, buy with ease knowing your item will be stored for you in a safe place until the pandemic has passed. Just send us a message requesting this service!
Do you offer a payment plan?
In light of current events, we are proud to offer a 30-day same-as-cash layaway plan. Please send us a message for more details! In addition, financing may be available through Square. Scroll to the bottom of this page and click the graphic for more information.
Can you ship?
Shipping is available! Please note, during this time there may be unavoidable delays in shipping and delivery dates due to the high demand of our shippers, new established state and country regulations and precautions along with changes to approved operational times. Many shippers are now delivering to curbside only for your safety and theirs.
