Fancy Vases on a Budget!
Want gorgeous home decor but don't want to break the bank? Why not try crafting your own and customizing your decor to compliment your style?
In this video, I touch on how I created these gorgeous vases with a couple of thrift store finds, Dixie Belle Paint, and re•design with Prima moulds!

Pretty simple, right?
To note, the reason I used Dixie Belle's Slick Stick to prime the vases is because glass is a very slick surface, therefore paint resists adhesion. Coating the vases with Slick Stick ensures my efforts won't be wasted, as the paint will last with maximum adhesion!
I should also note I used hot glue to fuse the moulded appliques to the glass. I tried a few other types of glue to no avail. Lest I head to the store and buy something else, I opted to use the hot glue. The point was to keep this project as inexpensive as possible, and buying glue would chip away at my bottom line.
